Today

If today is called today, then there will always be a day called today, in ten years, in a hundred years, or even further into the future.

This work, titledToday, reflects on the timeless nature of the present moment. Regardless of who we are or the era in which we live, today always refers to the now.

The composition is intentionally figurative, focusing on the human head and its features. Through our minds and senses, we interpret the world, distinguish between right and wrong, and search for truth. Our ability to think, reflect, and make decisions is one of the qualities that defines us as human.

The world is filled with beliefs, opinions, and convincing illusions. Yet there is only one truth. The choices we make today shape the future, and when that future arrives, it too becomes today. In this way, the present and the future are inseparable.

Today invites viewers to reflect on the significance of the present moment. It reminds us that every future begins as today, and every today was once somebody's future.
